Multiflora raw honey: the everyday jar with many sources
How mixed seasonal blossoms create rounded raw honey and why multiflora does not mean anonymous.
Many flowers, one season
Multiflora means the bees gathered nectar from a mixture of flowering plants rather than one dominant blossom. It does not mean leftover honey. A good multiflora jar can be a clear record of a landscape at a particular point in the season.
Ours is the most immediately familiar of the five: rounded florals, steady sweetness and a soft finish that does not demand analysis at breakfast.
Raw honey can still be practical
We like tasting language, but honey also has to earn a place in the cupboard. Multiflora works in marinades, baking, yoghurt and everyday drinks because it contributes honey character without pulling every recipe in one direction.
Expect natural movement
Colour, aroma and setting speed can change between harvests. We see that variation as honest evidence of blossom and season, while the jar label and batch details remain the authority for the honey you receive.
